How did you punch holes in the aluminum?

Aluminum is very soft. Much easier for a carpenter like me to work on. So the 7/8 inch holes for the valve and thermometer were just drilled with a cordless drill and a bit. Same thing for the false bottom. I got a 3/32 inch drill bit and just drilled with the cordless again. I did have to buy an extra lid for $10. Well worth it though. Brewing in a couple hours. Hooray!
