Score - Polysulphone Quick Connects

Tue Apr 07, 2009 8:40 am

I don't have a brew "system" or "sculpture" yet (long term project), but I just scored a bunch of polysulphone CPC quick-connects for...

free.

Called my local CPC sales rep and asked for some samples. One of the few perks of my job, I can get a few free samples of cool shit once and a while. :asshat:

Now I just need a March pump.

I doubt I could swing a free sample of that...

And a sculpture frame, I wonder if JP could swing a free sample of that...

I said "JP could swing"

You're not going to want to use those, they may be bad for the baby (when you put beer in the sippy cup). I am willing to dispose of them properly.

I should be getting 5 sets...

freeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nya nya nya!!!

:asshat:

How many do you need to finish your system? I ended up getting 1/2" NPT threads on the female, and 3/8 hose barb on the male.

Let me send in my Community rebrew, and I might make a deal...

Nice try.... No can do.

I actually need a pile of them. I just ran the numbers. I can spend $230 more to get all the fittings I need - or I can spend $360 to do the whole rig in stainless (assuming I can recoup about $120 from my existing CPCs). I might just have to bite the bullet and go for the upgrade. Time to sell a few pints of blood.

Oktober - better hope that CPC has a different sales rep for Rhode Island vs. New York (ie, not just a "Northeast" rep)... otherwise they might suspect some funny business.
