So I built a mash stiring arm connected to a gear head electric motor. Took a little time to make but it came out well. Intitial testing has proven ( at least in my system) that it doesn't change efficientcy at all. I had some thoughts that maybe there was some untapped goodness hidden in the areas of my mash that were not being used due to maybe channeling of strike water or who knows what.
In short the thing looks cool and makes doughin easier as I don't have to stir the grain in. But thats it.
Oh yeah, thanks to bugeater, he mentioned that this may be the case, he was right.
