Converting Tubing Sizes

Mon Jan 05, 2009 7:30 am

OK, so I'm trying to convert my brewery to all the same size tubing and fittings so everything is interchangeable. I am going with 1/2" ID and clover fittings. This will work great for pretty much everything, except my worth chiller. What's the best way to connect 1/2" tubing to 3/8" copper?

Get whatever size fits the copper tightly and clamp that on then put the 1/2" tubing over that and clamp that tube on.

Maybe solder one of these Image

Where are you buying your Clover fittings? I haven't found a place with decent pricing yet.
