I agree with John, check out the B3 site. They also have a good help file in pro mash. Its not as straight forward as just taking a reading, there is also a correction factor to figure out.
I do love mine though, once I got it all figured out.

You need both the OG and the FG readings to get the correct FG value when using a refractometer. Promash definitely has the place to plug them in.

Does the refractomemter say ATC on it anywhere? if so, then don't worry about the correction factor for temp.

It is ATC. Should my correction factor then in Promash be zero? It's .40 or something now.

Also, what difference would RO water vs filtered or tap water make when correcting for null? I'm confused.
