I'm about 5 minutes from the showroom so picking up ingredients and gear (or the occasional keg of Pliny ;-) ) is super easy. Plus, we hold our monthly homebrew club meetings (Diablo Order of Zymiracle Enthusiasts) there as well.

There is another plate chiller due out soon for about $90. I believe William's, More Beer, and Northern Brewer will be carrying it.
I have a Therminator and love it, but if this other wa available it would've been hard to choose. Tom

Half the price but half the cooling capacity of the Therminator (not that big of a deal, probably.) I have the Therminator and I love it as well. But I consider B3's carrying this new plate chiller to be a vindication. For several years now they have been citing the cleaning and sanitation issue as a reason not to sell them. I assume now they are satisfied that plate chillers of this type are safe to use.

Let's hope B3 or somebody has the new chiller out by Christmas so I can get something other than clothes from my wife.

I use a cfc and gravity and it works well. :)


but that 90 dollar one is tempting! the holidays are getting closer..the holloween candy is out.
