When I clean up I fill one tank with PBW and then transfer to each one by pump. I put my chiller in my kettle during this process so it gets cleaned too.

I want to thank all the folks that responded to my post. It re-enfforced the thoughts that my pal and me came up with, from the mechanical chemistry standpoint. The thing is : If you build/make your immersion chiller, wash the pipe in a wash of white distilled vinegar to take off the outer, manufacturer coating before you put it in the beer (wert).
