Doing some very rough calculations, the plate chillers have way more surface area than this one. A 40 plate Duda Deisel model (http://www.dudadiesel.com/choose_item.php?id=HX2340BWGH) has 9.9 square feet. If the Therminator has 30 plates, it has approximately 4.7 sq. ft. Assuming the length of the exposed tubes on the Jaded chiller is 12", I calculated 1.3 sq ft. The biggest Jaded immersion chiller has a surface area of approximately 5 sq. ft.

Fun fact: the Duda Deisel will hold approximately 0.42 gallons of wort. Not sure about the Therminator.
