I clean spiders and dog hair out of my mash tun every brew-day. With strike water.

Ok! In the midst of a party, I somehow managed to forget that I left 15 lbs of grain in my mash tun for 5 days. I opened that thing and it was god awful nasty. I wish it was only spiders and their webs. I scrubbed it, hit it with pbw, soaked it in starsan and it is by far the cleanest thing within 2 miles of my house! No bulls--t. You can clean it!

And if you are still worried, bleach it, then pbw it again, then star-san it.
that will get everything out and you'll have a nice white shiny mash tun.

..........take a flame to it, get an excorsist, bless it, and then back to PBW and Starsan.... :)

That would work if it wasn't a plastic cooler :(. Guess I'll have to stick with PBW.

Yeah, like herpes... wait, what?

Dead spiders ain't no thing. Just some protein... treat the dead and dried ones like ricehulls.
