it is probably most economical to go with the 10# over the 5#... a 5 is more likely to fit in the fridge tho

Hey guy's if I'm looking for a place to fill up my co2 tank where should I start, I'm having a huge brain fart about where to look.

Look up "Welding Supplies" in the yellow pages, or ask at your LHBS. They will know where to send you if they don;t do it themselves. Also, some sporting goods stores are starting to fill tanks for paintball.

Around here I get the best deal on fills at a place that services fire extinguishers. They fill while I wait. Next time my 5# tank runs dry, however, I think I will exchange it. It's ugly and over 40 years old (certification is current though). It will only cost me $3 more to exchange than to fill.

As a side note, getting a larger tank will save you money in the long run. It costs me $12 to fill my 5# tank, but only costs $16 to fill my 20# tanks. If you can find a way to put a larger tank outside your fridge. Your savings will help recover the extra cost of the larger tank. Also, some folks have problems with moisture getting inside and ruining their regulators when they keep them inside the fridge.
