Here is the poor man's version. This pic is of Eric Beer's Hop Hanger. I made one as well but no longer use it.

My last batch was made using Tasty's whirlpool method, whereby I removed the pickup tube from my kettle, upsized the recipe to account for the wort loss below the kettle valve, whirlpooled the hell out of the wort and let it settle for 20 minutes. Worked great. I had very little output when I did a trub dump on my conical prior to kegging.

Currently fermenting: Firestone Walker Pale 31 clone
Conditioning: Nothing
On draught: Nothing
