I have a more marginal pond pump in mine ... how do you know it is pushing out the beer dip tube. I think I can see bubbles moving up that line, slowly, is that enough evidence?

I have a bunch of extra keg hardware (posts, diptubes, etc.). I took the washer out in the yard and hooked up some spare posts (no keg) to the quick disconnects with the poppets removed. Turned the pump on so that water was squirting out of both quick disconnects (had a carboy on top of the main nozzle) and then physically held a long dip tube in place with my hands. While pointing the long dip tube straight up, water continued to squirt a few inches out of the top.
