Careful... that depends on the probe.

The standard 60" probes that came with Love's 2 years ago could not be fully submersed. The tip was fine, but if you put the whole thing in it was done. Ask me how I know.

Point taken. I will bow to your experiences.

I was still concerned and put shrink tubing at the tip to protect the joint. I havent had any issues, but, I am still testing/using.
