I have recently motorized my new Monster II mill. I just used an 18V cordless hammer drill and a bit of board. I wanted the simplicity of the drill, but I didn't want to have to hang onto it while it was milling. It all just sits on top of a 20L bucket and pulls apart for storage. I easily crush enough for a 5-10G batch on one fully charged battery, and I have a spare just in case. In the video the drill is running at less than 120rpm, and that works it a little hard, now I usually run the drill at about 150-200 rpm and this crushes 5kgs in a few minutes without overheating the drill. It can do it a lot faster, but I like the crush better when it goes slower.

and with 33lbs of RIP grist crushed on two battery packs
