thanks i appreciate the comments...

You should also post the specs on the motor. I think others would be interested in that.

its a older gearhead bodine motor. 100lb. inch torque and 151rpm.

Talk about a $500 mill though.

more like $350 for everything.

What are you planning for the hopper?

not quite sure yet. im thinking about welding in some vertical posts coming out of each leg and then sewing up a heavy canvas hopper and then attach the corners to each post for support.

Is the motor speed adjustable? Or is it just flat out?

flat speed... 151rpm. it is reversible however by rewiring the capacitor.

You might want to wire that up to a switch. I put in an on-off switch as well as a forward-reverse. It might just be my setup, but every now and then a void forms between the rollers and the grain in the hopper. I hit reverse and that usually cleans out any grains in the mill part. Back to forward and things work again. I think I used a DPDT switch for that.

The canvas hopper is what does it for me. Bravo. Don't change it. It will loose most (all) of its character.

Awesome piece of equipment... now all you need is maybe a dust shield for the electric motor? And an upgraded brew system that can handle multiple barrel capacity since that thing looks commercial rated!!! Nice job :bnarmy:
