How would I order a plastic motor bracket (Item 21, Part Number 0809-0058-1000) on the drawing. http://www.marchpump.com/site/files/966 ... Manual.pdf

Morebeer customer service indicated that was not a part they carried or would be able to order. Any suggestions? Thanks.

They may not carry the part but can for sure order it! Not sure why they told you that. If you want to order it, take a look at our distributor list on our website and find a local one to you: http://www.marchpump.com/distributors/

Hi Walter, are you familiar with the 869-VCI? I'm guessing it's the predecessor to your guys' 869-CI-T, which I see is rated up to 350° F for oil.

Do you know of any reason I wouldn't be able to use this to pump wort? I'd assume that anything that can handle 350° oil would be just fine with 200° wort. Do you know of any materials in the pump that you'd be scared to have come in contact with something you were going to consume? Thanks!

Yes the V stood for Vertical but no one knew what it was about so they droped it and now its just called the 869-CI-T (the T is for "Threaded")
the only things i would be suspect of in that pump would be the carbon bushing thats in the impeller, and the Nitrile Fiber gasket we used.....the gasket is realy ment for oil applications and in a water liek substance you "may" get seepage.
The carbon tends to give off particulates as it wears, so im not sure you would want to be drinking that...some people on other forums have stated they use the little giant pumps with carbon bushings and they have no problems....
That pump is rated for 22gpm and will only do 8.5' of head height do to the low rpm of the motor (1600rpm)
