I like it too.

Wasn't there a post a couple months ago by some guy that made his own immersion chiller in about 5 minutes or something? Even THAT rad pad still worked....

Nice! I think with all of those coils poking out all over the place you'll have more cooling are then you would with an actual round one. Plus you have to love home made.

Wonder if I can make a square one...

I think you just inspired me to build my own.

The square on has been done before. I remember a post with pictures on one of the forums about this, though I don't remember which site it was. The guy happened to have a whole box of 90° elbows and short length of copper pipe so he put one together. I remember it worked fine, but would cost a small fortune if you had to go out and buy all those fittings.

Indeed. Fittings, valves, etc is expensive. This makes mistakes even more frustrating.
