You guys have been helpful, but no one actually answered my ball valve question. Maybe I asked too many at once.

What is the best way to clean and sanitize the ball valve on my kettle between brews? I don't want to run my freshly cooled wort through a dirty valve to my fermentor!

Thanks guys!

I run the water and PBW solution I use to clean my kettle at the end of my brew day through my ball valve and then rinse. The next time I brew I open the valve and run boiling wort through it for a minute or so just to make sure it is sanitized.
