I'm currently using a converted keg (can't bring myself to add that other word to my lexicon) and I am looking forward to the day that I can trade up to a B3 type of pot.
For one the convex bottom makes volumetric adjustments nearly impossible. Add to that the aforementioned efficiency of the tang and Laminar flow and those are the main reasons I will be changing.
