Why conical?

Sun Dec 10, 2006 9:52 am

Allow me to ask the dumbest question in the history of TBN.

"Why do I want/need a conical?"

What does it do for me?

If I had a conical, do I still need to do secondary fermentation?

Don't get me wrong, I would love to win it, but I would love to hear all the reasons why its better too.

Allows you to dump any trub before pitching yeast.

Allows you to harvest yeast without transferring or exposing to ambient air
(no secondary needed)

Cleans up nice and looks professinoal. (major homebrewing chubby)

You really dont "need" one so just let someone else win it. (me)

Have you learned nothing from the BN? You don't need to do a secondary fermentation, regardless of your conicalness.

Remember these sage words...

Hail the pope JZ, do what he told you.
Do what he say, well ok, at least mostly,
And hit that fucking whirlpool vigorosely."

Its a sad sad day when we look towards an angry rap song for "sage" advice.

Drink motherfucker, drink!
