Heat rated hose

I finally stopped and got the brass quick disconnects that I wanted to get my pump into the system. I picked up a 25' rv hose (medical grade vinyl) and failed to see that it shouldn't be used for hot liquids. I can use it for my water filter so no funds wasted, but I am left with the question of what tubing/hose to use? I would like to use 1/2" i.d since I have the fittings already. Any suggestions?

Home Depot sells some fiber wound vinyl hose. You still wouldn't want to put much pressure on it at high temps but it works great on the inet side or on th outlet side as long as the flow doesn't have any restrictions.

I have some reinforced vinly hose but its only rated to 180°F. I may just use it and make sure that any transfers are done below that temp.

I bought this black rubber Goodyear hose http://www.brandsonsale.com/ht-001382.html because it specifically said it was rated for high (boiling I think) temps. The link above doesn't say so but I think it is stamped on the hose.

I use it for discharge from my immersion chiller through a lawn sprinkler and it has never kinked or bulged, even when the sprinkler got clogged once and the flow totally stopped. It's kind of heavy and hard to coil up, though.

Northern Brewer carries thermoplastic tubing rated to 275°.

Thanks for the replies, I must have overlooked that tubing on the B3 site. That or I was seeing sideways from Wit exposure. Now to find a place locally that sells the stuff.

Curious if anyone has used the Thermoplastic tubing from Northern Brewer. It is decscribed as "nice and rigid". Is it too rigid to work with and bend easily?
