Whats a good "cheap" source for polysulfine quick

Thu Feb 16, 2006 10:03 am

Has anyone found a good source for Polysulfine QD fittings? B3 and NB have them as well as others, but at 12-15 bucks for a set they are pretty expensive. Any other sources?

Just be careful that they're rated "Food Grade"

Doc.

Is it better to have the female disconnects attached to fittings and the pump conections and use the male qd ends on each hose end or would you set the QD's up in the reverse order - Femals QD's on the hose ends and the males affixed to the pump fittings etc.

Does this makes sense? or does it not matter.

I use brass QD's but the principles are the same. Put males on "things" and females on hoses. Males are cheaper and there are a lot more things than hoses.

George is right. There are a lot more "things" than "hoses" and Male ends are cheaper. That's how my system is set up.

Having the Females on the hoses just makes more sense. 8)

Thats funny. In Halifax Female Brass QD"S are cheaper. I guess it's just better up here.
Plus i more often refer to female "things" than male.
