i killed my ranco

i wired the thing wrong and it shorted out on me. am i out 50 bucks? i rewired my whole house but for some reason could not follow the stupid diagram they sent with the unit.

What's a ranco? A thermostat? Maybe it has a fuse in it.

You are only out your $50 if you don't have the equipment and expertise to service surface mount electronic components. I doubt there is a fuse, per se. Probably a blown diode in a best case scenario, total destruction otherwise. Sorry.
