What size stir bar should I get for a 1000 flask ?

You want a 2" bar. Buy an extra 'cause I garauntee one of them will end up in the fermenter.

I now keep a big arse magnet with my yeast starter gear. When I get ready to pour the starter into the fermentor i place the magnet on the bottom of the flask to prevent it from falling out. No more flying stirbars in my brewhouse. Way simple and works every time.
