Straight-A to clean my wort chiller

Thu Jan 19, 2006 5:41 pm

Can I use it for cleaning my chiller or do I need to buy something else?

Thanks,

Rob

What kind? Immersion? Soap and water then hot hot water/vinegar mix will shine it up.

Counterflow? I'd use PWB. If I can't see it I'd want to use something real strong.

But look for other ideas

I don't worry to much about it. I just spray it off with hot water. It'll get sanitized in the next boil.

Yep, wipe it down after each use, throw it in the boil with 15minutes left, it sanitizes for you. That is the easiest way.

my IMchiller always comes out shiny out of the pot, maybe the acids from the hops help shine up that copper.
