Amazon has a deal for brewers

Fri May 18, 2007 8:04 am

I just happened across this deal on Amazon today. It seems they are now bundling a copy of Palmer's How To Brew along with a Bayou Classic burner.
This is a great deal for a newer brewer just getting into full boils.

If I didn't already have two of each, I would get this myself.

Here is a dumb question and a little off topic. I have a burner and I am trying to figure out the best setting for the air flow. All open, all closed, any suggestions?

Not dumb at all. Open it all the way and gradually close it until all yellow flame goes away.

Just don't stuff it with paper towels...

FWIW, these Amazon bundle deals are bunk, Amazon always tries to give a match pair with any item, but at no savings... Nothing against either item, just wanted to point this out.

Burner $29.76
Book $12.57
--------------
Total $42.33 (same as bundle price)
