Yes... you may have to make a contraption to hold them but yeah you can use those...

A few years ago I remember reading a posting on rec.crafts.brewing by a guy who converted one of these to use as a boil pot. He had someone weld a metal ring of some sort to the bottom so it would sit without danger of tipping.

If I were still living out there, I would grab them myself.
