negative pressure to start siphon

I love using B3's R550/552 Sterile Siphon Starter for moving stuff out of carboys.
closed system, mostly sterile air, no CO2 tank needed.

But siphoning from brew kettle into a carboy hasn't been as fun.

luckily some new toys arrived from usplastic.com today. :)

Check Valves for Vacuum
parts 64001 and 64047 (ordered 3/16ths by accident)

Basically the idea is to have,
racking cane in kettle into a hood on carboy,
on the other hood post is FIL90 and then one of the air valve positioned to let air out.

Then gently and slowly suck air out thru the valve to start the siphon.

I did a small quick test with a jar that fits the carboy hood and it worked!
