Stout or more beer conical

I'm having a really hard time deciding on a conical. I've narrow it down to the morebeer 14 gallon or the Stout 20 gallon. has anyone had experience with both conicals?

I only have experience with the Stout conicals, but I like mine a lot. I have the 7 gallon, low profile design, and it works exactly as advertised. The build quality is good. I've run about 5 batches through it, and I've had no problems at all. I liked the MoreBeer options too, but I couldn't justify the cost difference.

That's good too know. Does it seem thin enough it might dent easily?

I'm not worried about denting it. It's not thin enough to be a problem. Even the lid is thick enough that denting it would take some effort.

Hey Bad Goat, what is pushing you toward the conical? Just interested in the benefits...do you use carboys now?

I do use carboys.

#1 volume. I only would have one vessel to clean, one vessels temp to worry about, pitch yeast, ect.
#2. The ability to remove hops and trub. multiple dry hoppings, ect

Haven't been to the Stout Tanks website in a while. Nice equipment. Some nice accessories as well.
