I'm on version 2.0 of my brewpot. The first version had an element that was not removable, and after 88 brews, it started imparting a burnt taste to my beers. Was way gunked up. Version 2.0 is removable, and I remove it and clean it with a SS choreboy after each brew. Still shiny as day 1 after 31 more brewdays...
