				Reverse flush it after use.  Flush it again prior to the next use.  Another thing, after you run the wort through the therminator, place it back into the boil pot in a whirlpool fashion.  This will leave the cold break in the boil pot.  You will need a pump.  Place the pump before the therminator and this will work.  I have used immersion chillers, and counterflow chillers.  I am currently using a 50' 1/2 in copper immersion chiller.  During the immersion chilling process, I pump the hot wort through a copper coil in a bucket filled with ice.  I can chill 11 gallons of wort from boil to under 50 degrees in 10 minutes.  It is crystal clear in the boil pot, and crystal clear in my fermenters, eliminating the need for racking.
