hense the basket.... hmm.. 15 gal fermenter, prolly a 10 gal batch,+ 1 gal for yeast sediment and trub... at 8 lbs per gal of water + fermentables... somewhere around 95 lbs or so plus the carboy itself!

Thats why I like my Tuff Tanks so much. I regularly use my 9 gal Tuf Tanks for 6 gal batches and can lug it around well enuff. The handles built into the sides make a big difference.

Then again the 14gal tanks, when full of 12 gallons for double batches are just bee-atches to move. Thats what those furniture mover carts with the casters are for.
