How long will one of those $8 oxygen tanks last? I'd been holding off on an oxygenation system thinking it would be expensive, but it seems like $30 for the regulator, stone, and tubing from more beer and $8 for the tank is all I'd need. No excuse not to oxygenate if it's that cheap.

I think it's 10-15 batches at about a minute of oxygen per batch.

Has anyone found a good way to dispose of these disposable tanks? I'm sure the local sanitation worker doesn't want a pressurized container that may have small amounts of oxygen in their truck when they compact everything. Maybe I'm thinking too much....

when it's empty it's empty, and not under pressure. if you're not sure, open the regulator all the way and leave it for a few hours. now all you've got is an empty can.

even when these things are full it's not that much pressure, which is why they're so cheap.
