Cornys are even better than glass carboys. I've been doing that lately. Unbreakable, lightproof, lighter to carry, rack with CO2, and cheaper. For a 15 -17 gallon brew I use 4 for primary. I take the gas post off and cover with foil. I still have 3 - 6 1/2 gall, 4 - 5 gallon. and 2 - 3 gallon glass carboys and they get used too. I just bought the 3 gallon ones love those for yeast starters. But if I HAd to do it over no glass for me. (except those baby 3 gallons)Too expensive too heavy and already broke one. If you go online and read the horror stories of people cutting their hand, wrists and arms - you will think twice. Stainlesss rocks. Cornys rock for those of us that can't afford conicals.
