6.5 Gallon Carboy R.I.P.?

Sat Oct 25, 2008 9:52 am

It's like they dropped off the face of the earth. I know that there was something going on with glass carboy's not being made in mexico anymore (bastards) or something, but all other sizes seem to be readily available. More Beer and Northern Brewer have removed them from their catalogs, and there's not even a 6.5 Better bottle.

Seriously, what's the deal?

The company who everyone got their supply from based in Mexico stopped making them. They now come from Italy.

You are best off scouring craigslist for them. I always seem them posted here (Seattle) for 10-25 per.
