Beer Geek/ Gamer Nerd Stirplate

Mon Feb 16, 2009 5:04 pm

Here's my new toy that combines my hobbies.
It really hurt me a little to tear into this poor NES, but it was dead anyway.

The power button on the Nintendo is the main power, and i wired it so the LED lights up when it's on.

I love it!

Now, if you could just get it to play the Super Mario Bros. music whilc it spins...

Very impressive.

I hoped you poured a little out for the fallen Nintendo though.

So, if the NES was dead - how did you get the Super Mario to play on the TV set? Playing it from the the virtual console via the Wii? Well, then yes, you are a gamer nerd that likes nostalgic 16bit video games.

Nice plate.

I was hoping that when he repaired it, he got SMB to play, but then I saw the little green light on the Wii...

Either that, or he used his SPARE NES!!!

I can only hope that the way to turn the stirplate on and off is:
