Hmmmm, not a cream ale fan yet. There's an Old English on my wish list..... Clog Head Ale ? I like it.

Seriously ...... I think an all-grain version of your favorite extract APA would be a great choice. It will be different, until you get a feel for replicating flavors you get from a particular extract, but it should put you in a tasty ballpark.
