Which Show??

The thing that I've heard from the BN is that you don't want to mix brass with stainless steel because "some crazy thing I don't understand" and they will corrode where the two metals meet. I wish I could remember the show where they talked about it - I think it was an older one and they had a brewer on talking about having to replace all the brass fittings on his gear as his budget allowed

Anyone remember what episode it was??

You sure it was The Session you heard it on? I don't recall hearing this but maybe it's on the 9-29-08 Brew Strong show that deals with Metals that affect your beer.

P.S. Was the Mrs. really DOTW caliber on Sunday? It's a shame you couldn't get through to the Session.

Dark Side, right on.

The Brew Strong 9-28-09 episode 1:31.30 they talk about the Stainless/Bronze connection corroding.

Not so much for a home brewer, but more so applies to someone continuously brewing all day every day it seems.
