I've got a 2nd year centenial at about 6 feet and 3 feet. Also a few first year cascades are barely shooting through the soil. I'm going to extend a string to the top of the house from the top of the trellis.

Update: My Chinook are up to about 20 feet now, Cascade and some others near 15, while others are less than 10 feet. Flowers have sprung on pretty much all of them. I tell ya, it's getting a little crowded in that garden. I'm also glad to report that The Protectors (aka praying mantis) have been spotted running around. A Couple years ago I bought a mantis egg sac and set them free in the garden. They seem to have stayed around ever since. But I think that the damn slugs are eating the leaves at the bottom of the bines.
