Rhizomes and where to buy/obtain?

Sun Dec 20, 2009 7:30 am

I have been growing hops (Chinook and Cascade) for 4 years now, and they are truly awesome. However, I want to try to obtain some different varieties to grow. Does anyone know where I can buy rhizomes of Simcoe, Centennial or Amarillo hops? If so, please let me know! Thanks!

I believe Amarillo and Simcoe are proprietary cultivars. You may not be able to buy rhizomes. I saw the centennial on the Freshops website. I think they start selling rhizomes in march of april. Hoppy growing! :)

Wow, thanks for all the feedback! So can anyone confirm that Simcoe rhizomes are not made available to the public? That would really bum me out since that is the one I want to grow the most!
