Oh Deer?

Will deer mess with my hops? Thinking of starting some and wondering if it will be an issue. I've got a 2500 volt electric fence around my tomatoes and corn. . .

Yes, deer love hops. Here's how I keep the deer out of mine.


That's a 6' high wire mesh fence around the entire garden area (about 75' X 100'). The white pvc pipes are the end supports for my hop trellis.

All the critters in my yard/garden come down with a bad case of lead poisining! Just make sure you do it quietly and under the radar of the neighbors. Grilled Venison...MMMMMM

Seriously, pissing around them should keep the deer away. I pissed around the pumpkin patch last year and they didn't come back after that. You have to do it every so often though.
