Yeah, I thought about that, but a stout is something they can drink on their anniversary.

If the stout isn't really going to do it for people in the summer, you could consider doing a black mild or a schwarzbier instead. Both of those can be made on the very dark side but be quite drinkable even in warmer weather. The upside with the mild is that it can be pumped out in 10-14 days and it will keep fairly well. The schwarzbier needs to be lagered, but if you brewed it early on then that might not be an issue.
