I just served a bbl of kolsch to about 90 people this weekend at a family reunion. Low ibu's at about 16 with s.g. of 044. I used 2-row and 10% malted wheat and pitched with Wyeast 2565. I usually brew a wheat beer every year, but this will be the new summer brew. Not that I worry about what bud light drinkers think of my beer, but I actually had a bud light drinker give his bottle to a buddy and pick up a pint of kolsch for the rest of the afternoon. Converting budmilloors drinkers one at a time!
