Just pitched a 1 L starter into my 1896 Eldridge, Pope AK. Maris Otter,flaked maize, invert sugar and lots of EKG. Thanks Ron and Kristen!

Just finished a Maibock. Man, that was some pretty crystal clear wort going into the fermenter. Was able to cool the beer down to 48F thanks to the freezing weather outside. Yeah WINTER!

Starting an amber ale right now, and then I think I need to slow down on the brewing for a bit. It's gonna take me awhile to get through these 15 gallons.

Was planning on brewing today, but the last of this strep is still hanging around. At least the nasty & contagious part went by pretty quickly, but for the last week it's just been hanging on. Apparently those buggers do have a bit of tolerance. Tried 3 days in a row to out drink them. Unsuccessful so far, but I'm going to try again today
