It appears to get good feedback, covers various mashing and sparging techniques and cost less than $20.
Screw James Spencer...our very own KrotchRott did an all-grain video and posted it here on TBN. DO a search.

Good video.

I just viewed the video on Krotch's web site for all grain brewing. This was very helpful. That is the first time I actually got to see someone elses brew process other than a few still pictures. I think this may have answered my questions.

Thanks to everyone for advice. Thanks to Krotch for the great video. Thanks to Justin for "tricking" the podcasters with conical bait or I wouldn't be registered to use this forum.

Wow those are great learning tools. I was lucky to watch somebody the first time but that is great. Way to go.

I read somewhere that if you need to drain the mash tun very slowly to get the best efficiency. Something like 1/2pint per minute. If you drain it too fast it will give you lower efficiency.

Is that right?

Just batch sparge and save yourself the frustration! Pirate Brewer, what is your pre-boil gravity? Sounds like you should watch that number as you sparge. If you don't have a refractometer, I would suggest getting a hydrometer with a thermometer in it so you can get quick readings.
