Brewing a brown ale for my first ever homebrew contest. I still can't believe I'm entering a homebrew contest. You don't have to be a beer tasting genius to know if you're beer sucks or not, but the contest is free and it sounds like a fun event so I'll enter. I'll post the results.

Thanks. I'll definitely need it. I was so hammered last night. I missed all my numbers, I'm posting crap about former child actors in the forum, and I woke up to find the type of mess you might expect after a house party, which had the wife kind of mad at me. On the plus side, I believe I was pretty good about boil times and hop additions. I'm interested to see how this one turns out. I'm entering it either way.

Refreshing summer cream ale for a family reunion scheduled in July. I love these easy brew days.

Just brewed a 5 gallon all grain batch of 1.038 starter wort. In the process of pressure canning it in quart jars.
