Brewing the king of all DIPA's today. This thing is dry hopped to the max, but I was thinking of adding a few ounces of Amarillo in with the long list of hops. Perhaps in a bag in the keg to get those wonderful Amarillo flavors. Will it be lost in the mix of hops (Chinook, Warrior, Simcoe, Columbus, Centennial)? Will 2 to 4 oz's be too much (10g batch) on top of the load or should I cut back on the other hops in the dry hop?

I brewed the PTE recipe recently but used only Amarillo hops to dry hop and I really noticed the Amarillo when I tasted it. I think the Chinook hop flavor is the strongest and rightfully so since there is so much of it.

i've noticed more simcoe aroma in the brewpub version vs the homebrew recipe (more columbus) that vinnie gave out a few years ago. it won't suck with amarillo, but it won't be pliny either.
