Another good reason to not like clone recipes.

It's hard to say what will work on their system vs yours. Rough math says you'll fit 40# of grain in a 15g MLT at a grist ratio of ~1.1 or so. Doable, but you might run into some problems. The 90 minute mash seems a bit long, but it might be needed pushing the system this far. I have a very, very vague recollection of the Yeti since I only tried it once in their tasting room about 4 years ago, but I seem to remember it being not all that thick/chewy of a beer. That may be why a lower temp combined with the author's process on the author's system might be giving them a 'clone'. It might not work at all on your system & there's definitely other roads that would get you to the final product. From my vague recollection of the Yeti & knowing how my old system worked, I would've started my trial runs at a regular mash thickness/time but at 153.
My first thought would to be taking out some of the 2 row & replacing with DME so you can do a mash more similar to what you're used to brewing. It might take a couple of attempts. If I were going to attempt this, I'd definitely be pulling out my tiny MLT I use for starters & doing 1 gallon test batches before committing to that much grain. No 2 systems are going to work the same, nor processes for that matter. Good luck.
