Hello! I drank a beer in all 351 MA towns, now on to CT

Hey guys!

My name is Todd. I am new to the forums, but a listener of BN

I just finished a quest to drink a beer in all 351 Massachusetts towns to raise money for children's cancer. Sam Adams was my sponsor. The total amount raised was $40,000. In 2014 I have teamed up with Two Roads out of Stratford CT and New Haven Children's hospital to do it again. This time I will be drinking a beer in all 169 CT towns. If you have any cool suggestions let me know, or if you want to read more about my story you can google it.

To follow my journey I'm @Ctpourtour on Twitter, CT pour tour on FB, and ctpourtour.com. Maybe I'll even meet some of you along my adventure

I'm excited to look around on these forums and talk to all the people that love beer.

I drank a beer in all 351 MA towns to raise money for cancer

Hey guys! I am new to this forum.

About a year ago I came up with an idea to have a beer in all 351 Massachusetts towns to raise money for Children's cancer in Boston. I presented the idea to Sam Adams, and Jim Koch sponsored my Beer Tour. I went to each town and had a beer. Some towns, I'd go have a quick beer, and other towns I would show up to banners, raffles, auctions, with all the money going to the children's cancer Institute. In the end a little over $40,000 was raised. I was followed around different bars by NBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, FOX and other media. It was really an unbelievable year how people would rally around the idea. My 351st and final beer was with Jim Koch and about 100 of my friends and people I met along the way at the Sam Adams Brewery. Probably one of the best days of my life. What made it so great was that there is about 40 towns in MA that don't have bars. People would see my story and invite me over for a beer. I would show up and they'd have a cookout. I even had a beer with a llama, a donkey, in a cramberry bog, and at a nudist colony.

I decided to do it again in 2014. This time I have teamed up with Two Roads Brewery out of Stratford CT, and the New Haven Children's Hospital. I will be drinking a beer in all 169 CT towns. The people in CT have been so welcoming to my idea. I have about 20 sponsors, including a ton of bars, restaurants, and hotels. I even have a car for my beer tour with all the logos of my sponsors on it. It's going to look ridiculous.

If you'd like to follow my story, meet for a beer, or recommend some places im @Ctpourtour on Twitter, CT Pour Tour on FB, and ctpourtour.com

I've attached a couple articles,

Cheers

Todd
