Texan down under

Tue Oct 16, 2012 11:18 pm

Hello all, I am an american living in Perth,WA. been here about 3 years and I have turned to home brewing because

I have been home brewing for about 4 months. I have brewed 3 batches so far.
First was the Coopers lager that came with kit, it was crap.
Second was a Belgian Ale that was a better, but not my favorite style.
Third was a German Pilsner that came out pretty good.
I would like to brew beers that are in the 5.5-6 abv range but I am no sure how to go about it.
